Robin Renee Sanders

Ambassador (Dr.) Robin Renee Sanders served as one of the U.S. Government’s top diplomats on African issues over a long career in the United States Diplomatic Corps with senior positions ranging from Ambassador to the Republics of Nigeria and the Congo, two stints as Director for Africa at the White House, and the U.S. Permanent Representative to the West African Regional Organization ECOWAS.

Dr. Sanders received her doctorate degree from Pittsburgh’s Robert Morris University and is considered a thought leader on a range of national security, sustainable development and business strategy issues for Africa, and has testified before the U.S. Congress on these topics.

Her advisory firm is divided into two parts: FEEEDS Advocacy Initiative on SME and economic development issues; FE3DS, LLC on business strategies, which advises African-focused firms, particularly in the technology, power, ad housing sectors.

FEEEDS, on the other hand, serves as global policy advisor to a variety of organizations, with a special focus on SMEs, the Africa Diaspora, Africa security issues (Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, etc.), and co-hosts an annual Washington-based event with Gallup World Poll on African issues.
